Overview

Snap your clothes and Essembl builds outfits from your own wardrobe, rates what you're wearing, and checks a new piece against what you own before you buy it. I audited the whole app as a new user would meet it, then redesigned Studio around its stickiest loop: rate, swap, re-rate.

What it does

  1. 01A full UX audit of the new-user path, from Today to Studio, Shop and Wardrobe
  2. 02One stylist voice: AI ideas and ratings share the same brief, so they never contradict
  3. 03Studio rebuilt around Rate me, with the score staying on screen while you swap
  4. 04One set of first-run requirements instead of five, shown visually and early
  5. 05Motion and haptics: the score counts up after a swap
